Don Chapman

Chief Executive Officer

Don Chapman is the Chief Executive Officer of G3.

After starting his career in Canada Don spent nearly 20 years overseas in trading and senior management positions in the agriculture industry in Europe and Asia.

Don holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Macquarie School of Management and has completed the ICD DEP program at the U of T, Rotman School of Management.

Brett Malkoske

Chief Financial Officer

Brett Malkoske is the Chief Financial Officer at G3 and is responsible for leading the company’s finance, risk management, treasury, and corporate development and strategy functions.

Brett has approximately 20 years of finance and strategy experience in the agriculture industry. He began his career in 2004 at Agricore United and moved into more senior roles there and at Viterra before joining Bunge to help set the strategy for the formation of G3 in 2015.

Brett is a Chartered Business Valuator and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Manitoba.

Don MacDonald

Vice-President, Operations

Don MacDonald is the Vice-President of Operations at G3, responsible for the operation of all country elevators and port terminals.

Don began his career in the Manitoba Pool Elevators country division in 1978 and spent the last 40 years in the Canadian ag industry with various companies. Don was President and CEO of Mission Terminals before joining the newly formed G3 as VP of Operations in 2015.

Don holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from University of Manitoba.

Brad Fowler

Vice-President, Trading & Logistics

Brad Fowler is the Vice President of Trading and Logistics at G3, responsible for export and domestic grain sales as well as logistics and transportation.

Brad has more than 30 years experience in Canadian grain export. Brad joined G3 in July of 2015 from Bunge in Winnipeg where he led trading activity. Prior to that Brad held a leadership role in Agricore United including grain merchandising, vessel chartering and export documentation. Brad also held positions in grain marketing at UGG, Pioneer Grain, and Elders/Allstate Grain.

Brad was raised on a grain farm in Luseland, Saskatchewan and studied Agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan.

Janice Watson

Vice-President, Human Resources

Janice Watson is the Vice President of Human Resources at G3, responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s human resource plans and policies.

Janice’s career spans approximately 20 years and includes work in the banking industry focused on agriculture, and senior HR leadership roles with Bunge, Viterra and Can Oat Milling. She has been with G3 since inception in 2015.

Janice has her HR Management Certification and Certified HR Professional (CHRP) designation; she has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science and completed three years of a four-year program of Bachelor of Human Ecology majoring in Foods and Nutrition.

Jeff Losch

Vice-President, General Counsel & Secretary

Jeff Losch is the Vice-President, General Counsel and Secretary at G3, responsible for all legal affairs and corporate communication activities.

Jeff began his career as a professional engineer before practicing law. Jeff has more than 25 years experience as corporate counsel advising management teams and boards of directors at private and public companies in various industries that include manufacturing and distribution, retail, and technology.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Minor in Management degree from McGill University as well as a Bachelor of Laws degree from Queen’s University and is a member of the Law Societies of Manitoba and Alberta.

Jon Bray

Vice-President, Audit & Risk Management

Jon Bray is the Vice-President Audit & Risk Management at G3, responsible for leading the internal audit function and facilitating G3’s enterprise risk management program.

Jon has more than 15 years of experience in audit and risk management. Jon began his career as a member of Deloitte’s Assurance & Advisory practice and has held managerial positions in financial reporting and risk management at Richardson International Limited. Prior to joining G3 in 2018, Jon acted as the Group Director Audit & Risk Management for NFI Group.

Jon is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). He holds a Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba.
